so, me being the bat out of hell on my bike...i had a very close encounter today. i was sitting here playing with the site, when dax from work called me asking if i had the key to the work truck(its his mode of transportation right now), and sure enough i forgot to take it out of my pocket. it was 5 oclock, which is when fastenal closes, so i wanted to get it to him as fast as i could, seeing as im sure he was ready to go home. i took the back way, sorta through the ghetto, since chickamauga ave and rossville blvd sucks with all the lights. i was probably doing somewhere between 60 and 70(in a 30 or 35), and this car turned in front of me..sure if i wasnt going so damned fast, it wouldnt have been an issue, but i think i locked the back brakes down a little, i think i felt a small fishtail, then i had to evasively maneuver around the car, while at the same time blowing my horn. it was my fault, but i blame her too..because she turned, and was completely blocking my lane and was stopped, because what she was doing was turning around. needless to say i was a bit rattled. but i think i’ll slow it down now, especially on back roads. i need another shot, my nerves are strung out right now..and a cigarette, and maybe some good ol’ lovin from a nice female which is on her way.

other notes, been sorta playing with the site, trying to learn a little bit here and there. i’m not as good of a webmaster as geoff is, but he’s a nerd. j/k. i am too.

my birthday starts tonight at 12, so i’ll be expecting presents to start pouring in my door. and people bringing me beer and stuff. if no one does, i’ll be disappointed at the 2 people that will have read this, possibly 3. but i love you guys, and this isnt a drunk post, fyi.

i dont know about the “profound” part, but geoff was right about drunken posts. this song always pops up at the most random times...the times where it makes sense.  odd, but makes so much sense. why is it that we we want something we can’t have..? but it’s ok, because we “get what you need”. perfect.
