so this is how the day went yesterday:
i got to ride along with scott(supervisor) and deliver things. i didnt get to drive any, because my license was expired, which i didnt really care to. its a lot better just sitting in the passenger seat and let someone else figure out where to go next. it was hot. i worked a little over 12 hours, which isnt anything special, just throwing it in there. i was having dinner with brooke, so i was ready to get off work. so anyway, i go home, take a shower, get ready, go pick up brooke, drive to chilis, sit down, and the waitress came.

she asked what we wanted to drink. by the way, i had been craving a nice cold beer all day long. i could taste it more and more after every stop. my heart was set on it.

so, now that i’m sitting at the dinner table, with that one beer on my mind, she asked for our drinks. brooke ordered her beer, since it was 2 for 1 i said id just drink one of those. gave the waitress my id, and she said “sir, this id is expired.”.  my life flashed before my eyes, my heart sank to the bottom of the ocean, tears formed in my eyes like when they shot ol’ yellar. i was baffled, i didnt know what to do! i wanted my beer!

i hope that painted a picture for you good enough. however, i snuck drinks from brookes beers while the waitress wasnt around...so i still got my beer, plus one more. so it turned out good after all.

so today, i went and renewed my license so ups will let me drive again.
